Happy Labor Day, nothin much planned for today, so I figured I can be a lil productive and practice more on some digital painting, since Bob Kato's class a few months ago I am still going strong. I cant wait for a more of his classes at disney

Stephane and Jeff

had the creative juices going and instead of applying it to Disney Princess I made one of the Master Disney Artist's "Jeff" into a southpark character and Stephane into a drunk cartoon character, i fear Stephane's revenge will be swift and painful hahaha

was bored and wanted to work a little more on the painting style i learned in bob kato's class , i looked though my friends photos on myspace and i found my super bestest friend Ellie, she is very beautiful and her facial features make for a great painting, i hope i didnt mess her up haha

Painting Class

Just got out of another painting class with Bob Kato. This one was very challenging. I was zoomed in close on the face 90% of the time and before i new it, i zoomed out and it looks like a Haunted Mansion Marc Davis style painting. It is not what the reference looks like but i am happy with it.


today was a crazy busy day. I am back on Maya Mickey Mouse Club House Character art/ Today I worked on a Donald kicking a football.

I worked on her from early 2002 all the way though middle 2007 then had to see her to move on to bigger and better things
She is a 2002 Ford Focus ZX3 aka The Tribal Focus or what i called her "The Money Pit" haha

My 1st sketch drawing class at Disney

here are a few of my first sketches in this drawing class. Every Friday afternoon during lunch time, Bob Kato brings in a model in various outfits to pose while we do 5-15 minutes sketches. I never have tried this before so Bob was nice enough to give me some pointers before I got started.

Monday Night Photoshop Painting Class

Every Monday evening Bob Kato (who teaches at Pasadena Art Center College) teaches us how to do traditional painting in photoshop. This is a piece I did from a photo. I have never painted this type of style s I was a little lost in the class but with some helpful hints from Bob I got my creative "magic" flowing and I left the call with this. I am trying to not get intimidated by all the super talent we have in the class.
